Easy2Sync on USB devices

Print this Topic Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Easy2Sync can be used like U3 software on mobile devices like USB sticks.

You can do that by:

1.Install the program on an USB stick, by copying the contents of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Easy2Sync for Outlook" to the USB device
2.If you want to store your tasks/options on the USB device, too, then create a file name "Easy2Sync_ForcedLocal.txt" in the same folder where you installed Easy2Sync in.
Caution: Each task must only be run on one computer, because it contains a "memory" of the previous sync.

Tip:

You can protected tasks from running them accidentally by not using drive letters (like C:), but drive names or by disabling the task, depending on the computer name.

Tip:

If you prefer, you can of course install Easy2Sync locally and just store the PST file on the USB device.
