Area: There is an error message when I synchronize.

Problem: There is a message that the PST file was locked.

 

Outlook must be closed on the computer where Easy2Sync for Outlook is not running. Depending of the Windows and Outlook versions, it may take some time after closing Outlook to free the file.

 

On some systems, Outlook keeps running, even if its user interface was closed. You can see this from the process “Outlook.exe,” which is still running in the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del). “Killing” the process does not always unlock the PST file.
