To write the addressing phrase, ReplyButler needs the name to be recognizably written in one of these places:
| • | The sender's e-mail address |
| • | In the e-mail in a line "Name: ..." (for website form mails) |
| • | At the end of the e-mail |
ReplyButler cannot write the addressing phrase if...
| • | ...the e-mail has multiple recipients |
| • | ...the first name cannot be clearly recognized ("Thomas Otto") |
| • | ...multiple first names with different genders are present ("Peter Maria Miller") |
| • | ...the first name is very unusual ("Sangil Wong") |
You can still use the "Addressing" button the to store the name permanently. If you feel that ReplyButler should have recognized the name, forward the e-mail to us, please. We'll keep it confidential and will try to improve ReplyButler.
